Can this Wheel Hub be Saved?

Purchased my first 2002 back in October of last year a '74 2002tii. I'm a first timer to doing a restoration this in-depth, I started working on refreshing the front suspension and had a bit of "While I'm in here"-itis and decided to replace bearings as well. I thought I was being careful but obviously I got a little too aggressive in taking out the bearing races on one of my front wheel hubs and made a few gouges. I've gone in and gotten it as smooth as I can with tools I have on hand, see pics below. What are everyone's thoughts? Is this usable as is, would you use it in your car? Would it be worth having a machine shop have a go at it? I'm not sure what kind of tolerances need to be kept here. I haven't touched the other hub yet so don't worry it's safe and hasn't been mistreated, LOL! Thanks in advance!

Yes I would use it still in my car after a little cleaning and dressing out any high spots on those jagged wounds.

Provided new race fits good and snug.

Worth a try anyway.

Go easy on that stuff dude! Got any aluminum or brass drifts? Smaller hammer maybe??

As Tech71 said that area is covered by the bearing race and as long as the race fits tight you should be good if your not happy with the tightness of the race loc-tite make a race and bearing mounting product that should help.
