If I didn't have a completely rebuilt one with new valves unused on my shelf right now, I would. Most of the studs are missing/not installed, thats not really "ready to bolt on and go" Threads all good in all those uninstalled stud holes? Looks like it was shaved, how thick is it now ? resra
All the studs are present and very easy to install. The head was professionally rebuilt and no one with right mind or knowledge would go through a rebuild without checking thickness to factory specs.

Helpful info for a buyer of a rebuilt head would include current measured thickness. A buyer could also ask rebuilder to answer/confirm: - Has it been pressure and vacuum tested? - Is it straight? - Describe water jacket or spark plug hole repairs, if any (photos don't reveal this either way). - Were valve guides replaced? Old or new style guides? - New or used rocker shafts? - New or used rocker arms? - New or used valve springs? (Valves don't appear to be new.) - Valve springs at what installed height? ... could go on. -KB
