This looks like very nice ‘74 tii! Lots of work done by Rob Torres (2002 Haus) — gaining high marks in my book. The owner during the 2006-2008 era was clearly dedicated to maintaining and improving the car: swapping out 5-speeds, installing a factory-rebuilt engine, installing power steering (this is a real, but rarely-seen, aftermarket system, documented by a receipt here).

 

Add in Campy’s, and it’s quite a nice package. It would be a shame if the original block disappeared after the replacement engine was installed. But the factory engine exchange program appears to have ended by the 1990’s; by 2006, when this tii got its remanufactured engine, I’d guess that Rob or the car’s owner simply found a leftover factory-rebuilt engine, and core exchange was no longer possible.

Definitely worth examining!
