Hey,

Flywheel has nothing to do with transmission, though throw out bearing does and clutch cover does.  Three types of flywheels, early 6 bolt, 228 mm eight bolt and 215 mm eight bolt. If you are replacing an automatic with a stick, you will need bolts which are flywheel specific as well. Do you know which you want/need?

It will be the 8 bolt, I was also told that the 228mm are tougher and would last longer? What are your thoughts

 

I'm building a pretty stock 2002 with dual side draft and the 5 speed upgrade being the most of my mods
