Idler Arm nut: too tight or just right?

I'm putting my subframe back together and want to check on the Idler Arm nut.  I've looked at a few different threads and it wasn't clear.  I tried to go up to 58 ft lbs, but at 50, i can't even get it to move.  This video is at 40ft lbs and it moves smoothly, but requires a fair amount of force. Not a single handed operation for sure.  New bushings were installed.  Does it look ok or should I readjust to something else?

I had it cranked up tight too. I think it moved a bit and took a set when I torqued it. I can't remember how stiff it was new by hand but i figured it'd loosen a bit once used.

I had the same problem. Couldn't get it to budge one bit. Torqued it to like 15 ft lbs and it's been fine, makes steering a little easier honestly. I'm trusting that cotter pin.

Is my castle nut/cotter pin supposed to be rotating with the idler arm when I move the idler arm?

Yes.  Idler arm shaft extends up thru the bushing.
