Price: $300
Location: Santa Clara, CA

Description:

I'm selling a new CLEAR NordGlass windshield and a new CLEAR Fuyao heated rear window. Both were ordered new thru Stevens Creek BMW and have been installed for just 2 wks. However, my tii has been in the shop the entire time and not driven as I just picked it up yesterday.

The front window was mistakenly ordered as clear, as my old windshield (which was a replacement) was clear also. Because of that the body shop went ahead and ordered a clear rear window mistakenly. These will both be removed next Tuesday when I have a tinted Pilkington windshield installed and my old rear window reinstalled even though the defrost does not function anymore.

Clear glass is correct for early ('66-'70) 1600/2002's, although I know that some late production '70 02's had tinted glass.

The retail for the windshield at Stevens Creek (and many other dealers) is about $680, although some outfits (Maximillian, BMW of Monterey, etc) list a MSRP of about $570 but sell them for $360 not incl shipping, which is like $200 (so together basically their MSRP). The rear window retails for about the same.

If you're restoring an early car or just need new clear F&R glass for your early car, these are the ticket.

$300 ea or $600 for the pair. SF Bay Area pick up only as shipping would be ludicrous.
