6 VARIOUS WHEELS

So it looks like you have three of each style of rims to be clear.

And it's pictured alternately in the listing.

Pic, 1,3 and 5 are the same kind (solid early steel wheels that the big hub caps fit on)

Pic 2,4 and 6 are the ones that came on 74-76 cars (with small center caps that go in the middle and these have the slots all around)

@resra Thank you for the info. 4 were on the car before I got new wheels, 1 was in the trunk and 1 was given to me from my brother who got it at a garage sale so not sure how 4 of the 6 were on my 70 at one time but I trust  your information.

Six rims displaying the history and variety of OEM ‘02 rims:

1. Sudrad (translated into English, Southern Wheel), manufactured May 1970, model number 13423, 4 1/2J x 13H,

2. Lemmerz, manufactured March 1974, model number 8611, 5J x 13H2,

3. Kronprinz, manufactured April 1972, model number 5359 C, 4 1/2J x 13H2,

4. Lemmerz, manufactured April 1974, model number 1305, 5J x 13H2,

5. Kronprinz, manufactured October 1971, model number 5359 C, 4 1/2J x 13H2, and

6. Lemmerz, manufactured April 1974, model number 1305, 5J x 13H2.

I’d guess that rims 2, 4, and 6 began life together on a 1974 model 2002, assembled after April 1974. Similarly, I’d guess that rims 3 and 5 might have started life together on a 1972 model 2002, assembled April 1972 or later. Rim number 1, on the other hand, is probably a lone rim, for a car assembled May 1970 or later. Only rim 1 could have been original to a 1970 model ‘02. If your 1970 was manufactured May 1970 or later, I’d bet that the Sudrad rim (rim 1) was original and remained with the car as the spare, while the four road wheels did their own thing! 😉

Again Chris, to help you and potential buyers it would help if you lay all six wheels and take a full view shot to upload or individual shots of wheels but in full so we can all make out if there is a possible set of four among these.
