Cars we have in common - Porsche 912

It seems many of us share similar car interests on this site outside of 2002s. I have owned a couple Porsche 912s and met some FAQ members over the years who have them as well.  I would like to own one again. They are a nice stable mate for 2002s. My friend just did a walk-around of my dad’s 69 912 on his YouTube channel.  Check it out. Any others with a secondary love for 912s or other air cooled Porsche’s?

I have a 912 exactly like your dad's.

And a 914, and a 944..a love for hustling around quickly in somewhat gutless cars.  Fun driving without being terribly reckless.

Greats cars!  I was hoping to take Dad’s out soon but a rear brake line has collapsed. It may be the original.

I have owned a 68 as primary transportation before the family grew  and a very nice 69 as a toy some 20 years later . The 68 rotted away (longitudinals) by 1971. I traded the 69 for a 930 Turbo and developed an addiction for more torque. Nice 912s are bringing handsome prices lately.
