Front Suspension Winter project

I found a crack on my motor mount while changing my starter this past summer so I’m looking to drop the front subframe ( I’ve never done this!) to do the repair, and plan to refresh all suspension items in need while its out.  These were the items i was planning to replace while I had the subframe out and reasonable access to the bottom end of the engine:

 

  • Renew motor mounts

  • Replace suspension bits:

    • New Control arm Rubber bushings 

    • New Tension Rod Rubber Bushings

    • New Strut Bearings

    • New Sway bar Bushings and End links (Poly)

    • (springs, ball joints, tie rods and center link were recently replaced)

  • Oil pan gasket

  • Replace Steering box gear oil

  • Coolant line below starter (not sure what this is for, but it looked kinda rough when replacing my starter)

 

I have some good engine oil leaks that I need to track down, though I'll save that for later unless it makes sense to do it now.  Is there anything else that I should do that would make sense while the subframe is out? Either on the subframe or bottom end of engine/ trans? 

 

I’m hoping to order parts and want to minimize additional orders!

Transmission mount, clutch, lightweight flywheel, rear main oil seal, engine and teans mounts. If you pull the trans have you rebuilt all your shifter bushings? Then since the driveshaft is off how about a new guibo? If that's off the center bearing and since the exhaust and driveshaft is out might as well drop that rear subframe and refresh all the bushings, mounts, rebuild the half-shafts. Hey, since you have to crack the brake lines already the stainless braided brake and clutch lines and then bend up some brand new hard lines while you're at it. Add pads shoes rotors and drums, maybe a wheel bearing or two and you're lookin good.

At least, that's what I did....
