I need to replace the rubber on my wipers.

all the discussion on the web is about the right length.

Modern inserts are a lot thicker and don’t fit my blades.

am I mistaken. I don’t want to order new replacement inserts that are too thick.

As always, thanks for the advice.

I'm pretty sure I used the Trico refills, as well, though I had to actually take the refill apart and transplant the rubber into my existing blade frame, as the Trico frame didn't have the right indents. This is for a '67 1600-2, though. I can check tomorrow if you haven't found any.

Yes, I agree with Dan  (Coloinca). If  just replacing the rubber blade is all you seek, the Napa classic fit (although I think they are made by Trico) what I believe are my original Bosch arms on my ‘74. $1.65 on EBay.   (As recommended elsewhere on the FAQ.)

FYI, pre 1970 1600s and 2002s came with 13 inch wiper arms/blades; later ones were 15."  Silver arms and blades on roundies, black on squarelights.
