I dunno... with my experience with German cars, I'm guessin' that thing is a giant rust-bucket. Just look at that bottom door edge...

I just picked up an E12 rear-subframe from a guy who had the most beautiful collection of E9's/E9 parts to which I've been sworn to not speak in detail about, and he tried to push a set of double headlight grills on me.

I always thought E10's with quad headlights look a little gross TBH, haha.

I’ve dragged many an 02 parts car onto my trailer in this condition, I’m sure it was parked there because it rusted out.  I think the quad headlights were a dealer installed accessory, they are probably worth something to someone...not to me. 02’s in my opinion don’t look good with four headlights, just like e21’s don’t look good with two headlights.

TUV (German vehicle inspection) is waaaaaay tougher than any US state, especially on rust--even surface rust on non-critical parts and especially underneath.  So I suspect that little jewel wouldn't pass TUV, so the owner just disposed of it....However, the classic exterior rust spots (trailing edge of front fenders, rear wheel opening lips) are surprisingly rust free...
