Price: $12000
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA

Description:

Assisting my mother-in-law in the sale of her 1976 BMW 2002, in Thousand Oaks, CA. Previous restoration, Pastel Blue, blue interior, automatic, sunroof, and air conditioning. 122,947 miles, SoCal car, in great condition. CA title, smog certificate, and current registration in hand. The previous owner and restoration was by German Tech in Thousand Oaks, CA.

In the last two years the 2002 has received fresh tires and did see slight repair work at the rear when my father-in-law bumped into it with the truck's tailgate, repair completed by a Porsche specialist in Oxnard, CA, Kudensport, extremely high quality. Included in the sale is an extra windshield and an extra windshield seal. The 2002 drives great, ready for fun. I have noticed rust at the lower front valance, the common area in the low nose, pictured. I also noted small bubbling in the left rear wheel arch. The paint was scratched by the sunroof on the sunroof panel. AC switch is getting finicky and needs to be in an exact position to operate the AC, so I would recommend replacement of the AC switch in the interior. AC blows cold.

My mother-in-law has been using it as a fun extra car and wants to see if off to a new home who can enjoy it more than she has time for. You are welcome to contact me here and I can facilitate or reach out to my mother-in-law directly.

$12,000

Thanks,

Patrick

Patrick

I wanted to give you a heads up that a friend of a friend of a friend of my wife's, who is local to Thousand Oaks, may be contacting your M-I-L to drop by and check out the car.  With my wife, I'm never too clear what is going on.

They've dubbed the project, "Operation Baby Blue".  We'll see what happens.

Peter
