replacing ball joints in the front of my tii, other stuff i

also i'd imagine i need some kinda puller to seperate the ball joints, is it a particularly tough job for a shade tree mechanic?

..a pickel fork might help, but I did it without. There's a "hammer" method, can't remember the exact trick, but it involves putting pressure on the balljoint and at the same time giving the top of it a good wack with a mallet. Worked great for me. Make sure toi have some safety wire to re-wire the three bolts. Also, be careful of the brake lines. If you remove the caliper and let it hang, it will probably kink the lines. Maybe a good time to upgrade to stainless if you haven't already.

change the tie rods and the center link at the same time, not a very big deal with a picle fork..cheap at harbor freight
