Update on the 320i intank pump

I removed mine to measure how far is the pick-up from the bottom of the tank. There is less than half an inch. So, it is not bad. Same goes with the fuel level sender. But as there are different anks with different depth, it might not be the same for all 2002s. My tank is on an early 1969. Because the pump is a low pressure/high volume device, I made a T with a return to the tank. This way there always is some flow and that won't burn the pump.

Did I mention that the pump assembly came from a 1981/1983 320i? It is a bolt on. Get the level connector (3 prongs) and the pump connector (2 prongs).
