Bring A Trailer at BayArea 02 Swap and Show

Hey everybody,

I'm Beck, a former 2002 owner and FAQ regular. I had a '74 Tii which I bought as a project in 2011 and sold on BaT in 2017 . I miss my 2002, but the opportunity came to buy the car I grew up in: my father's 911.

I work at Bring a Trailer, the online car auction website for enthusiasts like ourselves. Hopefully you've hear of us, if not, come check us out! We sell a lot of 2002s: https://bringatrailer.com/bmw/2002/

This year, BaT is a Turbo-level sponsor of the BayArea 02 Swap and Show. We'll be there with a booth, swag, and specialists eager to talk to you about 02s and every other new class.

We are hoping to have a 2002 at our booth which is also live for auction on BringaTrailer.com. If you are interested in selling your car on BaT during the week of May 4th and can have the car at the event, let me know. I'd love to talk to you about presenting it on BaT.

Thanks!

Lots of us remember Beck as a former rallymeister for Not the 49-MileDrive.  And as a San Francisco native, he showed us a number of unique routes (sometimes a trail...) and vistas.

Thanks for the shoutout Larry! Sadly the city has paved over the only (known) legal dirty road in San Francisco. Need to keep hunting.

Beck! I'll be rocking my BaT alumni license plate frame. I purchased from the owner who purchased it off of BaT back in 2016!

Hey Beck--

Do you have any Swap & Show-19 photos to post?  You can do so at [S&S-19 images in BayArea 02 Regional Group].  Thanks!

I don't think you will ever loose the touch from your former profession!

Larry
