Yeah, just spent $150 with Dave, much better than the worlduph scam artists. Will be interested in seeing how I do with the mylar chrome.

I am going to try the aluminium duct tape that a few people have used. Comes out really shiny but needs to be stretched and burnished flat. With some good preparation it should stick well.

Dave sells the plywood birch boards, just transfer the old skins, laser cut to perfection and he sends you the plastic snaps for the doors and not too mention very affordable, but again you need the skins.

I purchased the replacement wood backer boards from Aardvarc for my 69.  They were a little wider than the stock door cards and interfered with the door jamb and gasket, so I had to trim the board back by about 1/4 to 1/2".

Here is my first door with the Aardvarc wood panel and several different tries at the chrome.  I found this mylar product on Amazon.  It was not perfect, or it was me.  But I am happy with the result, though I know all the rough spots.  Link to product is:  https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079C6376S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06__o00_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1
