That’s a shame, really. Talbots are available in the used market but there are now holes in the door and the fender. 

 

Mine had a Talbot on the driver’s fender at one time, they removed it and welded the holes up. Then put a round aftermarket mirror on the door. I then removed that one, welded up those holes and redrilled the fender for an NOS Talbot I found in Germany. It will be the last thing I put on the car. My dad was very adamant about having that mirror on the fender.

And according to the NK2000 parts book, the only mirror available on the CS was the Talbot style, the swan neck isn’t listed.

That said, it's hard to see much in those fender mirrors, which is why I converted to E9 Door mirrors. But I wasnt thinking that originality might count 30 years later.

I wonder what fuse #6 controls on the 55k (gulp) garage queen.
