EZ Steer Power Steering

Recommended Posts

Price: $500
Location: Utah

Description:

Great working condition EZ Steer Power Steering. I am including the steering column with the sale because you have to cut the column to install. Makes for a super easy install. Worked perfect when I had it up and running. You can adjust the strength of the power steering to make it easier or harder. Works great for cars with modified wheels/tires.

I am doing a Restomod M42 and will use the power steering from the donor car so I no longer need this.

Free shipping in the continental US but will ship anywhere if you cover the fees.

PayPal preferred.

02manybimmers has first right of refusal as per the forum unwritten rules. He asked a couple of questions that I have answered  just now and am awaiting a response.

I will take it, if it isn't sold.

You are next in line if 02manybimmers decides not to take it.

Just FYI, I have had a couple of people send me offers for more than the listing price. I will not respond to those messages going forward. Please don't do that.

The common courtesy on this forum is to adhere to the listed price and offer it to the first person to respond. I have done that and am awaiting responses. Thanks

Just out of interest how did it feel?  Did it feel connected to the wheels? Or did it feel digital?

It felt very connected. The only time it felt a little digital is when you adjusted the strength but that was only for a couple of seconds. For people that have a hard time with the analog steering I think it is a great option. My wife really liked it but swapped my automatic car for a 5 speed and she won't drive it anymore anyway. My evil plan worked.

I am in SLC and  considering a similar install. Did you make the conversion yourself or have it done professionally? If it was contracted out, could you share the name of the garage?  Thanks,

I was already in my car when I purchased it. However, I know a couple of shops that may do it for you. I'll shoot you a PM.

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
