Do you make anything like this linkage for the 4 speed? something to make the shifting feel a little sportier?

Go to the  Blunt Tech website and look for their DSSR 4 speed shifter assembly. It uses the same Z3 shifter that is included in the 5 speed swap kit.

Which package is for the m42 swap? There's one kit that doesn't say what it's for (though it looks like e21 5 speed), and then the two other kits just say they're for the 245 swap.

One is from before we developed the casting. That's the one that uses e21 platform. The other 2 are the same. But one includes everything you need. Best bet is to call and I can explain it better 952 473 7278 office. 612 298 5725 cell

Bought one of these kits two weeks ago. It's too nice to install so I'm buying a second kit and will install that one while the first kit sits scattered on the garage floor because its so pretty.

If anyone is on the fence about buying one of these kits, I still love mine.

In my opinion, replacing the old shifter pieces with either factory or upgraded ones (like delrin bushings) provides the best “bang for your buck”.  I’m always surprised when the seller of a car says the shifting action is “great” then I drive the car and it’s absolutely AWFUL.  “stirring spaghetti with a wooden spoon”

I went thru this with a 911S and e30 318is.
