I need a couple to finish the trim. Went to my local dealer. The parts guys started searching, it took awhile. He says to me we have a lot of them, which surprised me. He went out the back and came back shortly, says to me we don’t carry it under the 2002 to search, but the part number is exactly the same for an E36. Just thought it was good info to pass along. They were $2 a piece.

Curious re: part # - do you know it?  I don't see anything in these two pix that look familiar:

I just looked at my receipt, it is the 205 #, I wouldnt have known the number! No idea why he would have told me it was an E36 part. At any rate they have a lot if stock at Kuni Bmw

That's odd, but good that they're available.  Part 51131804205 was found on the following vehicles:
1502-2002tii   (03/1966 — 07/1976)
3' E21   (02/1975 — 12/1983)
1500-2000CS   (09/1963 — 01/1972)
2500-3.3Li   (08/1968 — 02/1977)

No mention of E36.
