1973 Tii rear subframe

I have an opportunity to purchase a 3.90 diff with 1973 tii rear subframe. I definitely want the diff for my 5 speed conversion.

I was wondering are there any advantages to the tii rear subframe . bigger drum brakes , etc. ?  I have a stock 1976 model.  I checked and since my car was shipped to CA

it has the 3.64 diff

Thanks.

Doza.

I think the drums were the same size, with just the Turbo being larger,  just make sure you clean up the box section and when it's done maybe coat it with one of the Eastwood cavity sealers, someone here has probably done it.
