Do you mean dashboard parcel area?

 

As far as I know, most folks refer to the rear shelf (under the rear windshield) as the parcel shelf - and I have never heard of them having ridges.

I’m confident he’s talking about the parcel shelf for the dashboard, as his original was cut for a Mark IV A/C unit.

 

So it’s tricky: he’s probably looking for the lower component of a three-part dashboard with chrome fascia trim — at least that’s what was in the car at auction. So...in the U.S., it would be the lower component of a 1966 model through early 1968 model three-piece dashboard. The fully padded dashboard — as opposed to the chrome fascia version — arrived in U.S, cars before January 1, 1968.  Outside of the U.S., the chrome fascia version continued up until the Modell 71 arrived in April 1971.
