I'm trying to save the drive train out of a 74 tii parts car. It appears to have sat a long time. I can only get one cylinder to run. Spark is good on all four.I've pulled all the suction valve covers and added marvel mys oil.(They all appeared to have fresh fuel) Also disconnected the discharge lines at the pump (fuel here is not fresh) ? Should I remove the disch vavles that are below the plastic fuel lines at the pump? What about the injectors? TIA

Diesel fuel is a great solvent ,soak injectors for a day or 2 and take to a place that rebuild pumps and injectors for the 18wheelers ,they will tell you were are they opening @what pressure ,and spray formation .

Only then you decide on other tested ones or new ones .

Cheers!
