What's the best way to clean out a 1/2 to 3/4 in thick layer of grung/varnish from a gas tank that was parked too long. Its as nasty as a Turkish whore! TIA

They will submerge it in a huge tank of caustic thermo-nuclear chemical sheep dip, which will make it very clean.

You would do well to blow out your fuel and vapor lines with compressed air, then flush with solvent or gas, then blow dry. Then it's time to replace all the rubber fuel hoses.

YOU CAN CLEAN OUT EVEN THE NASTIEST OF OLD TANKS

WITH THIS STUFF . I HAVE USED IT AND IT WORKS .

THE COST WAS ABOUT 20 BUCKS THE LAST TIME I BOUGHT SOME
