Squatch Pad Detail:
3/8” Technical insulating foam material black in color.

I worked with a manufacture that was able to supply material based on my specific needs.  The Marisela is low-density, exhibiting firm support, low attenuation and good durability as well as weather resistant, heat resistant, flame resistant, chemical and oil resistant.

The material is excellent at vibration dampening, and sound absorption while presenting pleasing aesthetic appearance.

The pads are custom made, and unlike anything available in the marketplace.   They cover the entire inside skin of the underhood and undertrunk sections.  The look is unique and unlike the stock open cell foam squares, creates a more custom appearance. And, they won’t disintegrate after a few years creating a mess.

Application is via spray adhesive. Product recommendation 3M 80 spray adhesive.

Please find the below instructions for installation.

Hood
Installation:  (3M 80 spray adhesive has worked well and suggested by 3M)

**Please note, be careful opening box with box cutter or knife.

1.  Dry fit each pad for placement.  Smooth side to skin of metal.  Be careful when slipping A and C under the torsion bar as it could snag at the edge of the bar bolts.
2.  If you choose, tape off areas you do not want overspray from spray adhesive.
3.  If you have helper, it’s better, but you can do it yourself.
4.  Using the torsion bar, fold the top half of the pad down and spray the metal and pad.  Let it set up and attach.  The material is stretchy and no car is exactly the same.  Mold into creases of hood where you are happy.
5.  Repeat step 4 for the bottom half.
6.  Manipulate any material edges into the creases of metal.

Trunk

Pretty straight forward and same as the hood process.

The trunk is almost are repeat of the hoods, except much easier.
1. Tape off any unwanted areas of adhesive overspray
2.  Locate and try fit the pads to the letters
3.  Spray trunk lid and pad
4.  Let stand
5. Install

I would like to buy a hood set and a trunk set also. I am in no rush though. Will it save on shipping to wait until you have the trunk sets?

Thanks
