I'm still playing with the Webers on The Folvo engine so no freeway driving yet , 55 mph no noise though but don't tell the Bobbies ;)

i'm sure I could fab up a wind screen outtta' plexi glass...you know 'cause I'm always doin 80 on the freeway with my 5 gears:lol:

Cool I took number 1 to the powder coater this morning.,semi gloss black,he can also do silver , we're getting closer to a price.

If the welds were pretty (or fillet brazed, woooooo) it would look beautiful with just clear...

I'll take one bare metal. I'd like to paint and bake it. I've got access to a paint shop...

 

Is it just me or does powder coating chip too easily sometimes?

Thanks for the positive feedback,regarding powder coating, it will chip if the part is not lightly sand blasted to give a good key.My guy always blasts first ,the suspension parts I've had done have not chipped .We can do a bare metal one no problem. He's also staining some good wood to match my steering wheel, they will be close to a Nardi colour with stainless screws and wing nuts.
