Looking for suggestion on what shop manual to get and where to get it?

Thanks, the one little book I have from 1968 isn’t cutting it.

Is there a manual for dummies?  😳

The Haynes manual can be helpful.

I never open the Chiltons that I bought.

I have a copy of the BMW service manual and it is an awesome resource.

There is a 'copy' here on the FAQ, in the reference section.

Here is a link

get all of them.

not kidding.

each has its strengths.  chiltons. haynes, bmw, mcartney 02 resto guide, faq tq spec sheet....they are all on my shop shelf and they are all dirty from use.

total cost for all of them is less than one hour labor charge at a dealer.  small investment in keeping an old car running.
