Oregon folks HELP: Who bought this car in Wilsonville?

Hi Oregon 2002ers!

Please let me know if you or someone you know bought this vehicle.

The drunk #@%hole that ran into my parked car's insurance company is using this vehicle as a comparison for valuation.  They said the car in the ad is worth $7,100... I don't buy it for a minute.

PLEASE.. if you can help me prove this car is worth what it ACTUALLY sold for... I would be forever in your debt!!!  You can PM me if you prefer!

The insurance company's initial offer was to total the car and give me $6400.  Here's the story

USAA tried to give me 1,500 for my 1602 some 5 years ago. Comps at the time we’re about 6-7k. After a month or two they came up to 4K. It pisssd me off and I told them they could talk to my lawyer after a few other warm words. An hour later they came back to me with a reasonable price.

Unfortunately this is how they work. Most people need the money for a new car so they can’t wait so they take lowball offers. Insurance companies win. I have NEVER heard of someone fighting the insurance company and losing if they have the research to back up their numbers. Also receipts and documentation for all your upgrades, mods and repairs won’t hurt.  I’m sure it happens but everyone I know has fought and then they get the call with a reasonable offer.
