Looking for some 5 speed shift knob ideas. Show me what u got!  Since I’m using the Z3 shifter I can use pretty much any modern Bmw 5 speed knob correct?

Or your daily driver... no more putting along in 4th gear. I would suggest one from a Caddie, but don’t think they built manuals since early last century.

Get the correct die and go with the old style threaded rod. 14 x 1.5

If by "old style" you mean 2002 style, it has a 15 x 1.5 thread.

There are two types threaded and push on. My 5 speed knob is a push on. 

 

Ireland Engineering has some nice choices (either style).
