With the exception of the vinyl cover -- slightly different from the '02 version -- these early e21 stock seats are largely the same seats as installed in 1975-76 '02's. So if your side covers are cracked, your seat doesn't fold forward correctly, your springs are sagging, this looks like solid foundation for a re-done 1975-76 '02 seat.... Not mine, no affiliation.
