Simeon
Apart from the low compression pistons and the fittings to oil the turbo, what is the difference between a turbo engine and any other tii engine (ignoring the turbo and k fish pump)? wegweiser
I believe this has been for sale for at least 7-8 years. Originally offered through Zygmunt Motors. Still offered through Zygmunt Motors. The eternal turbo engine in a crate. Edited October 30, 2017 by wegweiser
Tommy
If it was new with turbo and injection... but being a just re-manufactured short block it feels kind of expensive. Maybe it will sell some day, let's keep following

Preyupy
The differences between a TURBO long block and a TII are 6.9:1 compression ratio due to dished pistons and some machine work to the combustion chambers. Exhaust valves with more sodium in them than stock 2002/Ti/Tii valves. 10mm exhaust manifold studs. Oil pan with turbocharger oil return fitting. Oil filter housing with thermostat and oil cooler fittings. The basic block, crank, rods, head (minus the combustion chamber machine work), camshaft, intake valves and front timing covers are exactly the same as Tii. dbmw2002
Did the guys at the factory pee on this one? Saw a BMW video stating they left the racing blocks out back to "season" them. Guys you can't make that up, and yes my 72 long block was properly seasoned
