skipsfcr
But I'll be there in one of my modern Bimmers! Lost a bearing or jammed a shift rail, leaving my tranny jammed in 3rd gear for the final 15 miles into Rogers, AR for the True Friends of Alex Von Falkenhausenn Fall drive. Scott Trettle was kind enough to let me ride along and navigate in his beautiful '72 golf tii. The 175 mile trip home in 3rd was...interesting. We managed about 68-70 the entire way. Thanks Bo, Barb, and all the rest of the True Friends who turned out to make this weekend great!

skipsfcr
Jim, it's a 4 spd. 242 but in an M20 configuration from an E21 323i. I think it's finally time for me to hybridize my 245 and extra 232 M20 case! Mike, the riviera car just got bumped top the front of the line! Six and a half years of 90% completion is long enough!
