OMG, thank God you're ok, and that you still have your car. After Reading 02princess' review, I got a spytec gps tracker creatively hidden in my car, and NOW after reading your story I will be actively using my electric fuel pump as a kill switch. Best wishes to you man, you deserve some good '02 carma.

Yeap! I am not afraid to disclose that I have gps trackers hidden in my precious cargos and since TESORO has a 123 Bluetooth dizzy, that’s an extra security device...

I’m a mama bear for sure... I only drive my cars to registered car events or places where I can see them when parked... at all times.

Be safe out there people! Every year, our cars become more rare... and I hate to say this, but more desirable for thieves...

Good for you. Always questionable to take people on, but you won and I am very pleased for you. Do not "kinda like the guy." He was about to put you in a world of heartache let alone the financial hassle. I do hate a thief and I do love kill switches. Well done!

Im glad to hear that you put pounding on that a-hole and that you and the car are ok. I conceal carry a 1911 and I have thought about this very situation a lot. I think if I walked up on a thief in the act i would hang back and call the cops. The way I see it, if I have to engage someone there's a good chance I would be forced to protect myself and i just can't justify a life for a car.

That's a big gun to conceal - I'm carrying the Glock model 40.  Pulling it would be a last resort.  At 6'6" and 250, I would count on my size to take  care of the situation first.

My daily driver is a stainless kimber pro carry. I'm in love with the 1911 platform and for me it's a very comfortable carry. I dont fight and don't want to put myself in a situation where I'm forced to choose. I carry for last option self defense. And honestly if I was to knowingly engage a situation and it ended fatal could I even claim self defense?... I really don't think I want to find out in court.

I agree with you. I shouldn't think too much on him he made his choice.

Kill switch and gps tracker is the next item on the list.

Bravo good sir. bravo. This is why I disable he ignition in my 123 now when I leave it parked for long, and even then have confidence a hurried thief who doesn't know Brunhilde's Italian nuances will flood the motor desperately trying to get her to start. Haha

a very good reason to have a kill switch hidden in/on the car someplace...you could have saved the fight knowing that he wasn't going anywhere, not knowing how to get the car started

that's next on my list

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,
