Not today, but Thursday: Tucked it into winter storage at the county fairgrounds. It'll hibernate next to a behemoth of a Buick.

Took it in early because I'll be trailering my dad's '54 GMC pickup over and need the garage space to try to get that one set up with functional brakes and driving for the first time in 17 years - at least well enough to make it to the same fairgrounds before they bar the doors for the season.

Really wish I had a barn, but then I'd probably be sleeping in it...

I just learned how to remove and install a ring gear. Went off without a hitch. Pretty happy right now. Thank you all for the posts and how to's.

Did this a while ago...
Mahle 9.5:1's, Dellorto DHLA 40's, everything is new, probably should have taken better notes.  Hope it runs.

Would love to know your carb jet sizes. I'm running the same Dellorto's and at the time of setup, no other members were using them. I have very lean nozzle jets now.

A couple days late on this but finally installed my IE front strut bar I purchased in 2018 after getting it powder coated. Had previously been running a modified version of the stock air filter so it wouldn't fit. Another added benefit to the sidedraft! Very tight fit and took much longer than expected to gently massage into place. Next steps are working on cleaning up the bay after stalking the various threads and seeing how well others have done theirs

74' Verona - The Original

..now slowly transforming into a racecar

I replaced the real sub frame mounts with new URO parts plus the plastic stiffener inserts.  Not really a difficult job, but next time I would probably get the car higher on the jack stands. Guess I'm getting old and out of shape, all that maneuvering under the car and in the back seat takes a toll on my body. Fun to see the original date code on the old parts.

Today I did a lot of wet sanding and cutting.
Then I fiddled with my hood and doors for a couple of hours.

I was so focused I forgot to take pictures, but here’s one from yesterday.

Do to the large amount of 02 parts thrown into pool. I had to fill it in.  😁

Dry fit my newish centre console.  I snagged the centre pieces from my original console added the Koogleworks radio mount with a Retrosound radio and put it together with some new long side panels off eBay.  I plugged the hole for the fog light switch with a USB port for the radio!

Once the new carpet is in I’ll have tunes!  The old one, the new one.

If only it worked :(

I have my Pioneer cassette deck from 1981 that still works. Out of the TR4 into the 02... whenever I get there.  But I'm sure I'll rethink that and install something with Bluetooth.
