Mark, I also wanted to add— there is no H squared. It’s likely also an H2.

My guess is Cromadora might’ve moved from H to H2 humps, and they had an existing outer mold altered to add the 2, but only a small one would fit in the existing recessed area…  ??

Where we goin’? … I’ll drive…

Labor day at @BarneyT's garage. Assembled / installed 45 kit and almost got it tuned with much appreciated assistance by Brandon. Also installed the IE pedal which took almost as long as the carb. Not easy by any stretch and don't think it's quite dialed it but that's a fight for another day

Cleaned, derusted, blasted, coated, and reassembled headlight assemblies.  I used Lucky7's suggested way to fabricate new adjustment mechanisms (posted 12/6/23).  They work quite well.

Not sure why but your link showed as an attachment for me. Here’s a non-attachment link to the post that lists those parts. Pretty cool. I just put together my left bucket and could have used a replacement for that janky little retainer.  https://www.bmw2002faq.com/forums/topic/190817-headlight-bucket-color/?do=findComment&comment=1647092

popovm,

Your link works better than my download.  Thank you.

Thanks for finding the instructions and for @Lucky 7for creating it. I didn’t know it existed. I’m definitely keeping it in mind.

Got the front bumper and bashed up R/H fender off Survivor before it got too hot and I retreated to the house.

Looks pretty good underneath.

Time to choose the replacement and start prepping it.

I need to pick up the pace to have the car ready for paint, maybe I should be doing a night shift.
