What kind of mounts are you using to attach the lines to the body?  Stock tabs/rubber?

 

Also, how well does that catch can setup work?  looks like it would be restrictive with that adapter in the valve cover.

Why does the right line look like you have a join in the middle?

 

Do you have the plastic sleeve that goes over the fuel pickup (under the rubber hose)?

 

Try and use fuel line clamps where ever possible as the worm clamps bite through the rubber lines.

Can you clarify what you mean by "fuel pickup" when referencing the sleeve?

The current hose does have a joint in it. It's a barbed coupler that I could eliminate with a single piece of hose. What i don't like is that the end of that hose simply slides onto the plastic tubing. I can clamp it but I don't want to use much force or I'll simply crimp the plastic tubing so I didn't.

I have some hose clamps that can replace the old ones.

I did order a plastic sleeve/tube but I'm not sure where this would be used. It seems you're suggesting that it connects at the metal pickup but I believe it's too small a diameter to slide over that metal tube.

90 deg male x female fittings are available for the return line connection in the 3rd photo.  That's a tight 180 deg bend.

A radiator shop is a good place to take a leak.

 

I have no idea what I'm doing but I know I'm really good at it.

It came from 2002_underground. The cell itself is pyrotech.

That was done by design. I’ve been running that setup for the last year...no issues. Northbay Bavarian liked it enough to copy it on a build they are doing. ?

Looks like you are running aluminum tubing through the passenger compartment. Is this correct?

1.  Finished assembling an extremely classy and exceedingly upscale 7-foot workbench for my '02 garage.  Notice the rare Brazilian rosewood, the professional craftsmanship, the finely detailed joints, and the exact placement of titanium screws.  Not too shabby for only $58 at Menard's.

 

2.  Drove my most recent project car ('70 body, '75 block, '83 head, and twin Solex 40PHH's) from Cincinnati to Kettering, Ohio, to spend the afternoon with fellow '02 buds Jim Denker and Mike Self.  Presented the car for their examination and discussion.  It was my first drive of this car for an appreciable distance; car performed well.  Gave the Solexes and the new 123 ignition a good workout. (some spitting and farting; the carbs, not me).  Much more to do to make sure they play well together (the carbs and the 123, not Jim and Mike).  Thanks, Jim and Mike, for the day and the input.

 

Yes, Tim, you should recognize this fine road machine.  Jim has named it The Beast.
