If you do decide to get one, build your own.  There's lots of detail on the web and you can make it whatever size/shape you want. I made mine wall mountable, and it would fit on the wall right above your step ladder.  It's just a matter of selecting the filter housing(s) that fit your needs. Mine is based on two Pentek 150469 3/4" #10 Big Blue Filter Housings available on Amazon and around the web. Maybe even after  your carport is done you'd want to store the set up indoors, because it stays full of water between uses and would be prone to freezing.

Yeah, I have a plan for that.  The wash bay would be on the other side of the garage but I think I am going to build and insulated room for the pressure washer and di set up or leave it in the garage and run a quick release for the hose to the outside.

I think the grit guards and good clean wash mitts probably help more than the foam cannon,  Most of the time I give the 02 an ONR wash and then top with beadmaker in the garage, since it rarely gets dirty.  The soap I use is PH neutral so its wont really break down dirt as much as lift the loose dirt and provide lubrication,  its also safe for wax.  Even if it doesn't help, the foam looks cool. Only the finish bothered me.  The original part is smooth.   When 3D printing produces a consistent smooth product I won't be so grumpy. ?

For the last month or so the o2 has been getting harder and harder to start after being driven then parked for an hour.
Im starting to get tired of it so decided to pop the hood and have a look around. What I noticed is that the fuel is draining back into the tank within about a minute of shutting the car off and there are a ton of air bubbles in the fuel filter so my first thought Is a tear in the fuel pump diaphragm. It looks like the bubbles are coming from the pump side.

How are you relieving the pressure when the car is shut down?

Do you have the stock fuel diverter inline still?

 

My theory is that upon shut down, the remaining fuel pressure has to either go past the float needle in the carb (flooding the manifold), or back through the valve in the pump; or both.

 

I use the Jeep filter, with two outlet nipples and use the second one to vent that pressure/fuel back to the tank through the steel return line under the car.  I think it helps.

 

I assume you have new fuel lines/clamps coming off of the tank, in the trunk; as well as the spacer sleeve (not cracked) on the sender's outlet nipple, ya?

     DISCLAIMER -- I now disagree with much of the timing advice I have given in the past.  I misinterpreted the distributor curves in the Blue Book as timing maps for our engines.  I've also switched from using ported-vacuum to manifold, with better results.  I apologize for spreading misinformation.

Have an extra clock but dont know if it works like it should. I think I had plans at one point to pull the guts out and put in a batter powered movement.
