Excellent! Maybe the license plate should be JIM 73.

I could do this as well. We did a double take last weekend seeing a black m5 with "hand built" plates with the caliper issue.

A few people asked what was wrong with my car, Mario Langsten thought it was my car too, got a good laugh out of it as Mario and Chris Langsten pull pranks on me from time to time.

It's interesting that the name of your M5 is "Rodney" & Rodney M. from Ohio is the owner on the other "HANDBLT" M5 with the caliper issue!

Yup, my car is named after Rodney M. with the other Hand Built plate.

Welcome back, Jim! Not that you ever left...

That's a great-looking '73. Have fun with the road trip home!

Nice looking car, Jim. Congratulations.

Welcome back (but you have always been an 02 guy at heart).

Looking forward to taking a ride in it sometime.

Yup... They never stay away too long.  Now we can have a slumber party at your house again.

Congrats on the new to you 02.

As mentioned above I also purchased a 73 Sahara in 78. Absolutely a great car in the snow!!

Pretty sure it's dissolved by now.

Welcome back.

Don

Harv has implied (correctly) that some mysterious misalignment of the galaxy was corrected on that fateful day that I decided to purchase - -  not only a 2002; not only a roundie, but a '73 SAHARA 2002 with a solid pedigree and very powerful mojo.  - - - As a bonus, I may not have to sell the 325. Mary says that I've sunk too much into it to sell it at a loss. I like her thinking!

The healing has truly begun, brethren.... Hallelujah!

Jim,

Great looking car, congratulations!  Got to love that Sahara color. Not that I'm biased or anything.
