FS: BBS RM / E24 rear seats / Tii Brake MC / Glass

Recommended Posts

Price: $100
Location: Brea, CA

I've got the following up for sale:

1) BBS RM wheels - A set of 5 that needs to be rebuilt/refinished.  One wheel was scuffed at the center bore, but still holds air (perfect for spare).  Two lips need to be replaced and sourced for '02 fitment.  The other two lips are 0.5" good for stock rebuild/refinish.  Complete set of Hex Nuts.  All bolts are OEM BBS bolts.  I was going to have these rebuilt out here locally if you need a source.  SOLD

2) E24 Rear Seats - Removed from late 70's E24 I believe.  Two seats and middle console.  Currently has Houndstooth fabric in fair shape.  Probably better to reupholster them to match your front seats.  Asking $250 obo.

3)  Tii Brake Master Cylinder - Purchased from FAQ member here with only 500 miles on it.  I never used or installed it.  Asking $50 obo. PENDING

4)  Front and Rear Windshield - Front is clear some chips along the edge, but otherwise good condition.  Rear is green with defrost grid, good condition.  Asking $80 obo.

5) Standard '02 strut housing - Good core.  Taken off of a standard 2002.  Perfect to send out for custom coilovers.  $80 obo.

6) Rear Subframe - Good core.  Taken off of a standard 2002.  Perfect to use for rear rebuild.  $80 obo.

7)  TEP Header - Good condition. Some surface rust. Worked well on my car but I replaced it with an IE one. $75 obo.

I might have some other parts, I'll post when I dig through my garage.  Local pickup preferred (near Brea, CA 92821).  Cash only please.  I'll post pics later this weekend.  Or text me on my cell 714-803-5798 if any questions.

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
