Wow... it sounds like another fantastic event.  Best of the best, no doubt.

Dueling Solexes!  We can handle that...Solexes, Webers, Mikunis, Dellortos, we welcome them all.  Injected cars even :)

Thanks for the update, Bo.  Can't wait to see y'all.

If you're interested in joining the Midwest caravan to Mid-America, PM me for route information, rally points if you wish to joint up en route, and our overnight stay location.  Except for the Cincinnati to Elizabethtown KY portion, we're either on scenic 4 lanes or two lane highways--much more fun route than I-70 to Springfield MO and then down through Branson.

Departure from Dayton is Wed morning 26 April, arrival in Eureka Springs around 3pm Thursday--presuming no breakdowns or roadside overhauls.

BTW, this is a GREAT event, where all the hard-core 02ers hang out...

cheers

mike

I'm putting some door prizes together for this event, which I will ship to Bo unless I can be there and award them myself.

I am considering a Cash Value coupon that you can use for anything I offer, and a High Output Bulb Set which you can take home.

Last year's cash value coupon was not redeemed; I would encourage the recipient (unknown) to get in touch -- it has an April 30 expiration date.

If you don't use it, you are throwing $50 in the trash... Go and Check Your Car for this, if you were the lucky winner last year.

There are other upgrades and options I could offer; is there anyone with a suggestion for a door prize?  I might consider repairs, or stripping / re-silvering reflectors in front turns, or headlights with a city light feature, or whatever your particular passion is... anyone?

I know that I might be soft in the head for asking for suggestions, but aren't we all a bit soft when it comes to 'Die flüsternde Bombe' anyway?

Andy   Thanks for the contribution!!!!   Your generosity and that of all of the folks and vendors who donate prizes make this one of the highly anticipated activities of the weekend    And everyone almost always wins a prize!!!!

And you get to listen to the wisdom and helpful hints by some of the legends in our community   In addition to all the fellowship, there is an expert panel forum where you can ask any question you may have regarding 02s!!!!

Bo says a lot of folks have registered    (its free  you know)    Feverishly trying to get this little car done so it can debut in 3 weeks

Lots of presentations are planned on activities that happened around the world last year in celebration of 100 years of BMW and 50 years of the 02 series

Should be a great time
