Weber piping

Just got my 1975 back from the shop where it had an engine transplant. At first it ran well but than started having issues. Took the Weber air filter off and found that the hose from the valve cover to the carb was pumping oil into the carb. Is this hose routed correctly? If it is what can I do to prevent the poor running presumably due to the oil bein pumped into the carb? Did the shop leave off something?

Sounds like your new engine is either massively over-filled with oil or you have excessive blow-by ( I'm going to guess it's the latter). What do you know about this engine? how many miles are on it? Did anyone do a leak down test on it before it was installed? Did you drive the car it came out of? Does it smoke when you accelerate or decelerate?  You make might also take the valve cover off and make sure the baffle plate is still on the breather outlet.

To to make it run better by not dumping oil into the carb try runnng a hose from the valve cover to a catch can somewhere in the engine compartment. Watch and see how much oil gets dumped in to the can after a few miles of driving/days/weeks etc...

Routing of valve cover to air cleaner by hose is correct and Having trace of oil from valve cover in the carb is ok, but lots of oil is trouble with engine. You didn't explain issues with the car shortly after transplant. Post pictures.

That crankcase breather hose should go from the valve cover to the carb air cleaner as you have described. The original air cleaners for the Solex carbs had a similar connection.  Unless the "new" engine is blowing a lot of oil into the carb intake through that hose, it is probably not your problem.  If the car ran fine for awhile after the transplant,  I would bet that something has come loose.  You should take it back to the shop that did the work and explain the problem.
