Alpina are not in the steering wheel business but MOMO are. It looks like a period correct wheel to me.

Got it...so maybe MOMO made this for Alpina?

My car came with the wooden version of that wheel.

(this was taken the day I bought the car)

I removed the wooden ring, then eventually the whole thing...

and put in a stock 320i wheel.

The rim of my wheel is in need of repair.

 P. W. has a nicer example than mine ( :) )

Not sure if that's genuine alpina. Maybe someone else can verify. I would guess it's genuine momo, but I've never seen the alpina logo engraved below the momo logo on this particular type of wheel. It would be nice if you could find the pad surrounding the horn button.

I have one in my e28.

Hey!  I could cOpy the one I took off and wrap it in black leather.

Screw holes that fit mine would probably line up on yours.

Screws included in the kit, of course.

Or perhaps a nice dark w00den one, with a matching shift knOb.

( I am almost in shift knOb mOde nOw )

Dion, that looks like a real Momo Alpina wheel, Nice score and period Correct.  you may be able to get the horn button surround/cover through Walloth/Nesh  new. Last time , probably one or two years ago, I was on their website you could buy a complete wheel, so it is worth checking out.

Best regards, Peter
