So i pulled apart my door top outer chrome trim pieces to replace the seal & felt wiper. The thing is composed of two parts...the chrome trim part, and a channel that has the felt wiper attached to it. This channel is held to the chrome trim via a few small clips....clips that vanished on me! I tried to ID them on realoem...but I do not see them on the exploded diagram hieroglyphs. Can anyone enlighten me on what the part # and QTY of clip I need is? See the pic below.

Call Carl and La Jolla Independent.  The dude knows everything.

 

Just a word of warning though, he's not much on small talk.  Know what you want to say, say it and wait for his answer. 


It's the most efficient way to get things accomplished.

If Carl can't help take a look at the realoem page for the early 320i it shows 3 or 4 different clips I don't know which one your looking for but they might work and at 60 cents each it might be worth a try.
