Yes, they will fit if you completely remove the stock seat mounts. I bought a set of the same seats this morning and test-fitted them. Fit like they were made for a 2002.

those are not E46 M3 seats.  they appear to be from an E36 M3 lux package coupe.   normal e36 m3's had the m3 specific "vader" seats with the wrap style headrest.  lux package M3's had regular e36 sport seats with nicer leather.
