Gasket sets

Yeah, there's a block set and a head set- likewise, I've only seen them separate.

I think a lot of the tii- specific sets have disappeared.  As have several of the more trusted makes...

As far as years, I THINK all the 2002 sets are the same now- but I haven't ordered them to confirm/deny that...

I believe there are sill different sets for the Tii and carb versions for the head sets.  They no longer have different headgaskets,  the original Tii used a cutter ring style gasket.  The difference in the kits is the gaskets for the intake runners on the Tii.

tii may be different from carb, and yes, head set is separate from block set, but on Pelican parts there was a reference to before/after a serial number, even thought PN was the same. I believe the 121 head set is different from later heads,

The difference between early and late is the carburetor base gasket,  Early was a single bbl carb and later was 2bbl.  The intake and exhaust ports on the 121, E12, E21, and 1.8 heads are all the same.  All late 1.8 liter and 2 liter engines use the same bore so the headgaskets are the same.  The E30 1.8 might have a different gasket between the exhaust manifold and down pipe (I have not worked on a 4 cyl M10 E30 in many years so I'm not sure on that one).  There used to be a difference between the early and late Tii gasket sets because of the early cars running the plastic intake runners that used O rings instead of the later cars running the aluminum runners with gaskets.
