Strut colors

I'm priming and painting my subframe and various pieces, including the struts, Eastwood chassis satin black. My struts were some kind of red/orange before and I was thinking of maybe painting them some kind of funky color after I'm done. Yellow? Red? Leave them black?

I'm installing HR springs, which are blue and of course the Bilsteins are yellow.

Anybody paint their struts? Got any pix?

Thanks

Nick

OEM was black; they hardly show behind the wheel, so leave 'em black.  BTW, open out the drain holes at the lower spring cups to allow water and dirt to drain out better than the factory did.  OEM holes are too high and too small...

I did all my sub-frames front and rear in gray but here are some in yellow and red also.

I'm digging the yellow! My subframe will stay black and the struts will first be painted with the Eastwood chassis product before I spray on anything else.
