But I cringe at the thought of "modernizing" that extremely rare Auburn 651 convertible sedan.  That was the second-to-last year for Auburn production and I doubt if there are a dozen 6 cylinder convertible sedans still in existence (most of that expensive body style were 8s).  Other more common cars, no problem, but not a rare, full CCCA (that's Classic Car Club of America, not the BMW club) classic Auburn!

Johnathan is a visionary - always loved watching him work. 


He attended this past SoCal Vintage show, and invited some of us back to his warehouse with our 02s. He offered to buy my 1600 but I declined.

In retrospect, I would have liked to see what he would come up with.
