318ti M40/42 engine into 1502/2002 questions to those that have.

I know it's possible, I've read the FAQ posts and the build threads by those that have done the transplant and have a couple of questions. The engine seems to fit well but what about the manual trans from the 318? Does the engine and trans sit lower in the 2092 than it would in the 318? Does it limit the amount you can lower the 2002? Would it be better to exchange the trans tunnel from the 318 into the 2002 to allow the engine to sit higher in the engine bay?
