engine and drivetrain tii Crankshaft Pulley Dilemna

My tii's motor came to me in pieces, and I'm having some trouble with the crankshaft pulley on the front end.  Is there a sleeve, or extra piece that fits between the tii's front pulley and the crankshaft itself?  I'd take a picture, but it's all at the machine shop right now.  At first I thought the previous owner had given me the wrong pulley, but now I'm not sure at all, and I can't find a decent exploded diagram of the engine. Thanks for any help!

The v belt pulley is a light steel disc which bolts on to a heavy (maybe cast iron) crankshaft hub which is splined for the fuel injection pump belt and possibly v belt for AC if so equipt.

There is no sleeve between the crankshaft end and the hub?  How does the hub lock onto the crank?

 

I wish I could find a decent exploded parts diagram of a tii motor..

The crankshaft for M10 engines is the same for regular 2002 and tii.  There is a woodruff key on the nose of the crankshaft. The hub has a corresponding slot (keyway).

I don't know where you got the front pulley but that is not from a Tii.  That is a standard M10 front pulley, Looks like that one might have spent some time at the bottom of the lake.

it would be better if you could show the

other side of the pulley that has the rust.

it looks like a tii pulley with an AC pulley on

the back side, the side you are showing.

The rusty piece is not a Tii part, the first thing outside of the seal surface is the toothed pulley for the injection pump drive belt, ALL of the V belt pulleys are outside of the plastic cover over the belt.  The pulley on the tool box is a Tii hub with a single grove pulley for a NON A/C car.

Before you fit the pulley to the hub, do yourself a favour and find the tdc mark and paint it. Same for the tdc marker on the pump belt cover.

tii hub with A/C pulley from my 72tii 2762332 engine (converted to carbs in my 69)

Same engine rebuilt and converted to carbs.  I used an early front pulley.
