In my quasi inebriated state of mind tonight I think I posted a blog. We'll see what happens tomorrow, but for now a little teaser for my fellow artist drunkards.

brother... that is sweet!  I hope you milled the top timing chain cover to the same height as the head... it'll leak, otherwise

The head is going to be the biggest challenge.

that "quasi inebriated" elixir is certainly a magic potion for fantastic creativity !!  

 

for a cement-head left-brain mechanical engineer such as myself, I could use a healthy dose of that tonic to perhaps loosen some of my inner right-brain ......

Doing a schnitzer might be easier than the standard, with the grid pattern in the cam carrier and front timing cover - but what the hell do I know about it about making replica bmw parts in cardboard (nothing).  Really cool stuff, love it.  I need to send you one of the cardboard models of my Alpina car.

No need since there will not be any piston rings. Now if I can only figure out how to pump talcum powder through this piece.

This is incredible. I dont even understand how you did this, especially the timing cover which appears to be molded.
